She is an endorsed Insight Yoga Teacher and is a mentor to yoga practitioners completing advanced yoga training through the Insight Yoga Institute (founded in 2010 by Sarah and Ty Powers).
Over her time as a yoga teacher, Sarah has taught classes and workshops throughout Sydney and Canberra, and has established herself as a yoga teacher trainer - offering Yin Yoga Teacher Training courses in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Byron Bay over the last 8 years.
Sarah’s approach to yoga integrates personal practice with self-inquiry, slow mindful movements with an emphasis on embodiment and energetic refinement, and yin yoga and meditation with an emphasis on mindful awareness.
Yoga Mentoring
Individual mentoring sessions for yoga teachers and yoga practitioners can be valuable for:
Cultivating consistency in your personal practice, including developing a personalised sadhana (conscious spiritual practice) to include yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and awareness practices, as well as cultivating a yogic lifestyle inspired by the 8 limbs of yoga (including the yamas and niyamas)
Reigniting your passion and motivation for sharing the teachings of yoga, refining your teaching skills, deepening your knowledge, and developing skills for making your teachings more accessible, including trauma-informed yoga and meditation practices.
Building a successful career as a yoga teacher (including diversifying your offerings of yoga classes (in gyms, yoga studios, community settings, corporate yoga etc), to offering yoga workshops, yoga retreats and more).

“What I love about Sarah is that she makes yoga accessible to the everyday person in their everyday lives. You walk away from her teachings being ok with where you have come from and where you are right now. At the same time, she leaves you with a sense of curiosity – to lean in towards yourself, to discover your internal compass to help you navigate towards your greater purpose while still being true to your authentic self”
